Defign Magazine Showcases The Matakana Village Pub

Aug 31, 2020

We are proud to see The Matakana Village pub showcased in the latest Defign magazine - Warkworth Construction oversaw the extensive renovations of this historic building following Peter Were's architectural plans.

"The skillfulness of the design is how much of it seems like it's always been there. Remarkable because of the significant alterations involving several walls largely removed to make separated rooms flow."
Defign magazine is a celebration and complete collection of the award winning designs and innovative entries from the ADNZ | Resene Architectural Design Awards.

Published on an annual basis, Defign is a publication for those passionate about architecture and those who want to escape into the creative and unique world of New Zealand design.
